Some Projects Include: drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, puppetry, mixed media, printmaking and performance art! FNM Staff are professional artists and teachers. Our goal is to nurture creativity & enhance art skills in a non-competitive, safe, fun environment. No prior experience or talent is needed! We will have fun outdoor activities, play-time and one field trip. Each Fri. we will have a “performance or gallery exhibit” of the work completed during the past week.
    Masks and Murals
Puppets-Large Walk-able-Moving Puppets! Using recycled materials the group will make large-scale movable puppets. The Project will introduce students to the two-and three-dimensional art forms from masks to murals. Through group projects, the youth will learn about types of masks and their uses – from cultural traditions to dramatic uses –and create one from their own imagination. Youth will learn the art of collaboration when working as a team to complete project!

Each student will learn bookmaking techniques to collect and “publish” their individual prints in book form

What happens to the grocery bags and toy packaging once you've removed the products inside? In this fun week of recycling, they become art! Taking inspiration from FNM artists, students will learn to create two-& three-dimensional works using “reclaimed” materials found in our daily lives. Come prepared to turn your waste into unique artworks.
