Some Projects Include: drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, puppetry, mixed media, printmaking and performance art! FNM Staff are professional artists and teachers. Our goal is to nurture creativity & enhance art skills in a non-competitive, safe, fun environment. No prior experience or talent is needed! We will have fun outdoor activities, play-time and one field trip. Each Fri. we will have a “performance or gallery exhibit” of the work completed.  Drawing the Draw Squad Way: Learn the “ten key words” of drawing! Everyone will be drawing creatively and confidently three dimensional figures at the end of camp. Drawing nature, still life’s and action-figures become easy and fun! Modern Day Masters:  Introduces American artists to kids while offering hands-on art experiences in the styles of Great American Masters! Each featured artist has a style that is accessible to children, and a life history that will interest and inspire them! Art activities include: painting, drawing, printmaking, clay. Meet the FNM CAMP Masters and see their work on Fridays! Fish, The Sea, and all that Otters!! Collages: Fish mobiles, collages, puppets and paintings of the seas. Learn about the Ocean, our own Bay while creatively creating two and three dimensional sea life!
Words are Art- Don’t you Know! Find your Rhythm -- Poetry is Fun: Poetry can be so much fun and poems become works of art when you’re in the poetry zone! We will write some short, imaginative poems and have a “poetry slam” at the end of the week!
All about Me! Making a storybook about you! Printmaking and Photography: An unique storybook filled with pictures, adventure and dreams, which will create a special visual diary when completed. Using a variety of mediums and papers, students will learn various printmaking techniques from block to monoprints. Each student will learn bookmaking techniques to collect and “publish” their individual prints in book form Self Portraits – Explore drawing, painting and view the many ways to express yourself! There are more than two ways to view yourself! Painting, drawing, printmaking photography, realism and abstract art will be introduced in this multi-dimensional project. Recyle, ReUse, It’s Art! What happens to the grocery bags and toy packaging once you've removed the products inside? In this fun week of recycling, they become art! Taking inspiration from FNM artists, students will learn to create two-& three-dimensional works using “reclaimed” materials found in our daily lives. Come prepared to turn your waste into unique artworks.

Students need to bring a lunch with a drink, & healthy snacks for the AM & PM breaks. Wear comfortable, layered clothing for jumping, climbing & playing indoors & out. Also need clothes for messy days! Classes are limited, no substitutes, no change in times or weeks. Only one-week session is offered at end of summer.
