    Take a journey to Brazil through experiencing Brazilian music and dance. Gisella Ferreira gives an invigorating, energizing workshop that teaches Samba/Afro-Brazilian dance fundamentals as well as the history of Samba and it's healing powers. Get ready for an awakening of mind, body, spirit. Workshops are 2 hours and are accompanied by live percussion.  Gisella Ferreira is a Brazilian American performance artist and instructor specializing in Samba, Afro-Brazilian, Capoeira, Hip- Hop, Street Jazz dance and Zumba. She has over 12 years of professional dance experience performing worldwide in places such as Brazil and Hong Kong. She has trained extensively and taught in Rio and Salvador, Brazil as well as in Santa Cruz, Watsonville and Los Angeles CA. She works with Banda Didá in Salvador Bahia, Brazil teaching Hip-Hop movement to disadvantaged women and children. As a dancer, choreographer, director and instructor Gisella Ferreira travels the world, sharing her passion for dance and culture through teaching and performance art where ever she goes.
