Celebrate 75 years of history at the Monterey County Fair and kick off the event by “horse ‘n around” with us at the “Cattle Drive for a Cure”! Witness history in the making as we honor the Western cowboy tradition in our region and partner with the Tough Enough to Wear Pink Campaign! Pink packs a punch. Salinas Valley Memorial’s Comprehensive Cancer Center is downright pink with pride to be the beneficiary of the Monterey County Fair’s first Cattle Drive for a Cure—in support of Wrangler’s Tough Enough to Wear Pink campaign. On August 31, don your pink western wear to watch local wranglers and cowboys on horseback drive a herd of longhorn cattle along Fairground Road. Enjoy the pancake breakfast starting at 9:00 a.m. and hang around for the 11:30 cattle drive. All proceeds of the breakfast will go to cancer care and research at Salinas Valley Memorial.

    Visit for ticket information.

Don your cowboy wear (preferably PINK) and bring your cameras, co-workers, friends and family! Come out and see our guest wranglers (local community members) and cowboys on horseback as they drive a herd of longhorn cattle from Garden Road down along Fairground Road.!
