    Monterey County Composers Forum will present "Inspirations", a concert of new music by local composers on Sunday, Aug. 12th at 3:00 PM. Featured composers will include Benjamin Belew, Steve Ettinger, Peter Kwiek, Ed Mercurio, Alison Passell, Julie Roseman, Bill Rentz, Dennis Seese, and Dale Victorine. Special performers will include Benjamin Belew, piano, Carmen Martin, mezzo soprano, and Kyoko Shimozaki, soprano. The concert will be held at The First United Methodist Church, 404 Lincoln St, Salinas, CA 93901. Admission: $5.00 suggested donation. Donations will also be accepted for Dorothy's Kitchen, a non-profit organization that provides food and shelter to those in need in the Salinas area. A reception will follow the concert.
