Bordering Silicon Valley to the North, and the "Salad Bowl of the World' to the South, the Monterey Bay region stands as a very unique destination for tourists and business people throughout the world. Its magnificent natural beauty and rural background, is matched by a dynamic, entrepreneurial business community that leads the world in such industries as wine, specialty crops, sustainable agriculture, agro-technology, marine biology, IT, clean-tech and languages, not to mention its world renowned educational institutions. Congressman Sam Farr will lead a group of Monterey Bay region business leaders with presentations and interactive discussions on how we can market the Monterey Bay region to the rest of the world so they too can experience the region's uniqueness, beauty and 'cutting-edge' industries.

Congressman Sam Farr 17th District, Keynote Speaker - Congressman will provide a general overview of what is happening in Congress as it pertains to our local business climate with additional comments on how the dynamic business climate of the Monterey Bay region as leaders in language, agriculture and marine biology can dovetail the global promotion of the Monterey Bay region's wine and tourism industries.
