United Nations Association, Monterey Bay Chapter

The purpose of the Monterey Bay Chapter of the United Nations Association is to educate our community about critical world issues, and to build understanding and support for the ideals and vital work of the United Nations and its agencies. We present six major community events each year, and work with student groups at local middle schools, high schools, colleges and graduate schools. UNA-USA and its chapters take policy positions on issues related to the United Nations and US-UN relations and then mobilize support for those policy positions, including contacting appropriate government officials.
