Artistas Unidos - Artists United is a multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary community forum for the benefit of all residents of Monterey County. We are dedicated to providing an environment for artists from all cultures in Monterey County to create and display or perform their works. The goal of Artistas Unidos - Artists United, as a nonprofit public benefit organization, is to promote intercultural understanding and communication through the arts and advocate cultural tourism with Salinas as the focal point.

    1st Fridays Art Walk Downtown Salinas 1st Fridays Art Walk Presented by Artistas Unidos at Downtown Salinas March 2, 2012-January 1, 2013 1st Fridays Art Walk features more than 50 venues with art openings, live music, dance, book signings, lectures, poetry, open mic, food, wine tastings, children's creation stations, and much more. This FREE event for all ages is family-friendly and takes place the 1st Friday of every month, year-round, rain or shine in Oldtown Salinas. Join the community for an evening of fun, friends, and the arts!

Open Artists' Studio Tour of Salinas & the Salinas Valley, kicks off on California Arts Day - the First Friday in October - with a Gala Artist Reception at the 4word Art Galley in Downtown Salinas. See how the artists work and bet special discounts on original art during this great event! October 20 celebrates the last day of the event with a closing reception as part of the Salinas Valley Food & Wine Festival.
