The American Institute of Wine and Food (AIWF) was founded in 1981 by Julia Child, Robert Mondavi and Richard Graff, among others as a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the appreciation, understanding and accessibility of food and beverage, and enhancing the quality of life through education.
