Aromas Grange

The Aromas Grange #361 was formed in 1913 in a small community in the central coast region of California by 25 charter members. The original name of the community was Vega, but it was changed to Aromas in 1918. It is the sixth oldest existing Grange in the state. The Grange secured a library for the town, a railroad depot and was instrumental in starting the Fire Department, raising money to buy the first fire truck. Members of the Aromas Grange sponsored the first Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts and 4H Club. All three youth activities are still supported by and carry on meetings at the Grange.

      08/26/12	Aromas Day Aromas Grange Aromas Day Presented by Aromas Hills Artisans at Aromas Grange August 26, 2012 Come enjoy a “Day in the Country”. Start the day as early as 7:30am with a country style breakfast at the Aromas Grange. At 9am the street fair opens with Art at the Park-featuring the Aromas Hills Artisans, Music all day from the bandstand. There are pony rides, a farm animal petting zoo, games for kids and the popular rock climbing wall! Be sure to be there at 2pm for the Parade with tractors, classic cars, horseback...
      10/28/12	Autumn Art Workshop and Raffle Aromas Grange Autumn Art Workshop and Raffle Presented by Aromas Hills Artisans at Aromas Grange October 28, 2012 You are invited to make a piece of art and take it home with you! Take a workshop from one of the artists of the Aromas Hills Artisans. Classes are free, although some classes have a small material fee. This is also your last chance to purchase a raffle ticket to win a piece of artwork donated by one of the Artisans. Drawing at 11am. Come early and enjoy a country style breakfast, too! Enjoy the art work of the Aromas Hills Artisans all under one roof at the Aromas Grange!  A wide variety of mediums will be there for you to choose that special holiday gift! No matter what the weather, you can stroll through this wonderful selection of local artists work and talk to the artist themselves to learn how it was created.
